Dr. Entrekin is Emeritus Professor of Management at Murdoch
University and Adjunct Professor at The University of Notre Dame
Australia. He has published five books and over 60 refereed journal
articles.
Lanny has worked extensively with the International Labour
Organization (ILO), undertaking 20 Missions in Thailand, Nepal,
Malaysia, Singapore, Philippines, Indonesia, Sri Lanka, China, Hong
Kong, Bangladesh; he has also been a Resident Representative with the
ILO in Bangkok and Geneva. He is currently updating a book he wrote for
the ILO titled 'Human Resource Management: Adaptation and Change in an
Age Of Globalisation' (ILO,2001)
Lanny has successfully supervised 20 PhD students and is presently
working with 7 PhD candidates. His primary teaching interests are HRM
and Management Consulting. Lanny designed and introduced the Master of
Human Resource Masters and Doctor of Human Resource Management degree
programs at Murdoch University and was director of MBA programs at
Murdoch and the University of Western Australia. He has been a visiting
Professor at the University of California, Irvine, Gonzaga University,
University of Bath, UK, University of Alaska, Fairbanks, USA, and the
University of New Brunswick, Canada. He lives in Fremantle, Western
Australia, with his adopted Nepalese daughter. |
