Dr. Edvardsson is professor and director of the Service Research
Center (CTF) at Karlstad University, Sweden. He is the editor of the
International Journal of Service Industry Management and a fellow at the
Center for Service leadership at Arizona State University and at
Hanken, The Swedish School of Economics and Business Administration in
Helsinki. He also holds a part-time chair as professor at the Oslo
Business School.
Bo is author or co-author of 18 books and has published 72 articles
in scientific journals. His most recent book is “Customer Involvement in
New Service development”. His new book is centred on the IKEA
organization.. His research focuses on Service quality, new service
development, dynamics in customer relationships and value creation
through service and customer experiences. He is involved in executive
development programs in Sweden, Finland, Singapore, Dubai, Hong Kong and
Malaysia, as well as in consulting with private companies and
municipalities. He has a special interest in the area of service
infusion in manufacturing, and the transformation from products to
services in manufacturing. He is also actively involved with companies
such as Scania, ABB and Volvo. |
