Dr. van der Wiele is an Associate Professor in Quality Management and Organizational Performance at the Rotterdam School of Management at the Erasmus University, Rotterdam, The Netherlands.  His doctoral thesis focused on 'Beyond Fads, Management Fads and Organizational Change with reference to Quality Management.  Dr. van der Wiele is Editor of the International Journal of Quality and Reliability Management.  He also serves on the editorial advisory boards of various international journals and has published numerous articles in prestigious journals.  Dr. van der Wiele has been involved in various international research projects covering issues in the area of Quality Management.
